The Cappella School of Music offers private music lessons on all major instruments and voice, to students of all ages and ability levels. Serving the musical community since 2005, Cappella offers outstanding music instruction, tailored to the needs of the individual student. Our exceptional faculty of teachers are either college trained or long-term, professional musicians who offer instruction in all styles of music from classical to contemporary pop and rock.
In addition to guitar, piano, voice , bass and drums, Cappella offers instruction on all classical strings and the horn, reed and woodwind band instruments. While our focus is on weekly private lessons, we also offer audition prep classes and voice coaching classes for singers, and Master classes for advanced students. For beginners, we offer free introductory classes. These lessons allow students to get their feet wet, not just with the online music lesson process, but also allow them to test-drive our outstanding teaching staff as well.
Cappella is open year round and, while students are encouraged to study with us all year, it is possible for students to start and stop studies to coordinate with their other activities.
Cappella's Director and co-ordinator of programs is Geoff Hansplant, a musician / songwriter / recording artist with over forty years of musical experience and a Masters Degree in Education. Tuition at Cappella is paid on a month to month basis, with affordable rates based on the length of the individual student's weekly lesson. We accept personal checks and all major credit cards, through our PayPal portal.
Cappella School of Music is located on the East Coast of the USA, but is happy to coordinate lessons with students, everywhere!

Music, like all learning, is about far more than developing technical proficiency on a given instrument. It is about working together, exploring the process together, finding ways to make meaningful connections with other people, and ways to express what lives within your own heart. Our Staff of great teachers, are also great people - people who love to teach and help students navigate their own paths to self-expression.
